Hi, Ximena! I found you through Mason Currey and it's so nice to be here. I'm not on social media, so I wasn't aware of "October Theory." However, there's something to it. For the Celts, Samhain (a holiday that aligns with Halloween) was the most important festivity, marking the beginning of the new year. It was the last harvest before the long winter, so animal sacrifices were made to thank the divinity for the bounty. The term "bonfire" actually means "a fire of bones," meaning that the bones of said animals were thrown into a big village fire as part of the celebrations. As an astrologer, though, I understand why January is the new year for you. I don't mean that in the sense of the beginning of the calendar year, but because that's your birthday, and your birthday marks the beginning of YOUR personal year. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and congrats on your book publication!
