Thanks, Ximena! This was timely and I could relate to it after spending three weeks in Italy. When we got to Milan it was still the middle of May and things were pretty chill. The last week in Florence and Rome I found it difficult to walk on the small sidewalks with the overwhelming throng of people, not to mention the constant noise! But, there I was, a tourist as well! I did find my way to places not as popular to seek out trees and beautiful doors to photograph. I suppose we all have things that bring us comfort, for me it truly is trees, and as I find a place that has that comforting feeling I can feel myself breathe deeply and my heart slow to a normal pace.
